The hero’s journey as contrived by Campbell is an essentially male, specifically a privileged male, initiation adventure. Not in a mean way, they just didn’t think girls would like it. Peterson: Let me say right off- I do love Star Wars. Peterson and Corey Dahl recently got together to discuss the latest installment, the female hero’s journey, the Kylo Ren Disney+ sitcom we’re all waiting for, and more.
